RATE Premier Conference
Two-disc DVD set
Length: 203 min. (2005)
The Institute for Creation Research RATE Conference (Thousands...Not Billions) DVD set contains over three hours of conference footage and multiple post-conference interviews.
At the "Thousands...Not Billions" conference the RATE research group publicly presented their groundbreaking discoveries. The entire historic event is presented in this DVD set that presents compelling geological evidence for a young earth. Four of the eight major results are presented with question and answers afterwards. Radiometric dates are inaccurate, and the reason dates are in the millions and billions of years is due to accelerated radioactive decay at the creation and/or the Flood. Although some technical material is discussed, this video will be useful to anyone interested in the debate of origins and the age of the earth.
The two-DVD set is formatted so the user can watch the conference in its entirety or one session at a time. Also includes a reproducible handout with technical definitions and summary points for each conference session.

 | Geochronology is the scientific study of the age of the Earth, and the temporal sequence of events related to the formation of the planet and the history of life on Earth. The word is derived from Geo meaning Earth, and chronology, which is the study of time, or a record of events in the order of their occurrence (timeline). It is from this field of study that fossils and artifacts are dated based on the perceived age of the geological layers in which they are located. Geologists determine the age of rocks, fossils, and sediments using a variety of methods including relative and absolute dating. ...Read more at the CreationWiki. |
