About the Authors
Ken Ham is the president/CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis - U.S. and the highly acclaimed Creation Museum. Ken Ham is one of the most in-demand Christian speakers in North America. Ken's emphasis is on the relevance and authority of the book of Genesis and how compromise on Genesis has opened a dangerous door regarding how the culture and church view biblical authority. His Australian accent, keen sense of humor, captivating stories, and exceptional PowerPoint illustrations have made him one of North America's most effective Christian communicators.

Buddy Davis is a multi-talented christian speaker for Answers in Genesis (AiG). Buddy's speaking style is one that allows everybody to understand, and is popular with listeners of all ages. Other than speaking, Davis is well known as an author, singer/songwriter, illustrator, and dinosaur sculptor. He has been largely responsible for the sculpting of the dinosaurs for AiG's Creation Museum and Family Discovery Center. Buddy is well known by children as the main man in the popular “Creation Adventure” children’s workshop at AiG conferences.

Fossils and Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs are a diverse group of extinct reptiles best known for the varieties that reached enormous sizes. They included both carnivores (meat eaters), such as the monstrous Allosaurs that reached 40 ft in length, as well as herbivores (plant eaters) like Diplodocus that may have exceeded 115 ft. The name "dinosaur" means terrible lizard, which was coined in 1842 by the creationist paleontologist Richard Owen from the Greek words deinos ("terrible") and sauros ("lizard"). Dinosaurs are found in abundance in the fossil record due to the size and durability of their bones. Most creation scientist interpret the existence of such fossils to mean that the organisms were alive at the time of the global flood, which is described in the Biblical book of Genesis. Furthermore because the text says that all land animals were placed on Noah's ark, if correct the dinosaur was also included in their number, and became extinct very recently.
